No. 50 Olive Oil gets its name from the location of the farm where the olives are produced. The whole Namibian coast from Swakopmund onwards is named after miles and this specific farm in Hentiesbaai that lies on mile 50.
Regarding design and production, we used a colour palette of contrasting deep blue to symbolise the ocean, and red-orange to symbolise the desert. These colours were used in the typography of the name, logo and back label. And this was used as a contrast to the screen-printed white map detail that covered the rest of the tube.
